Swedish Essay for Germany

The
society
we
live
in
today
is
quite
structured.
Doing
things,
acting,
looking,
communicating,
greeting,
eating,
living
and
even
smiling
have
a
certain
way
to
be
acted
out
right
and
traditions
are
highly
prioritized.
The
slightest
change
in
our,
even
daily,
traditions
and
routines
could
be
equal
to
a
doom
for
some
people.
But
what
is
it
that
we
are
afraid
of?
What
is
it
that
makes
diversity
so
dangerous
and
hard
to
accept?
Traditions
are
something
that
holds
a
great
meaning
to
most
people,
which
is
comprehensible
since
it
is
something
generations
of
people
have
used
for
a
very
long
time,
and
they
often
hold
this
dearly.
Something
which
is
preserved
with
love
is
hard
to
let
go
off
or
change,
which
is
undeniable.
So
when
new
traditions
enter,
it
could
be
somewhat
difficult
to
accept,
because
what
has
been
is
what
it
is
supposed
to
be.
At
least
that
is
what
some
people
think.
This
structure
in
our
society
is,
like
mentioned,
very
complex
but
varies
from
country
to
country.
If
you
would
travel
overseas,
you
would
find
different
systems
with
different
functions.
Sweden’s
system
contains
completely
different
ideal
ways
of
how
you
are
supposed
to
act,
speak
and
even
eat
than
for
example
Saudi
Arabia’s
does.
Their
ideal
of
a
perfect
day
is
utterly
different
from
ours,
and
even
their
people
are
very
different,
according
to
some
people.
USA,
Ukraine,
Iraq,
Afghanistan,
Palestine,
Syria…These
are
only
a
few
of
the
countries
which
have
been
at
war
during
the
21st
century.
War
is
a
horrible
act
of
human
destruction
and
a
terrible
way
of
trying
to
gain
power,
money
and
take
control
over
things
you
do
not
own.
It
is
only
logical
that
people
flee
from
it,
because
I
do
not
believe
that
anyone
would
ever
want
to
be
controlled
by
a
device
which
could
easily
wipe
out
someone’s
life.
Fleeing
is
natural
when
something
is
threatening
your
life
and
trying
to
find
shelter
is
as
well.
But
when
Muslims
are
fleeing
from
an
Islamic
country,
they
are
supposed
to
find
shelter
and
protection
in
a
Islamic
country
because
it
does
simply
not
fit
with
a
Muslim
in
a
Christian
country,
since
that
would
destroy
our
traditions,
well
at
least
according
to
some
people’s
beliefs.
All
people
have
the
right
to
believe,
think
what
they
want
and
have
different
opinions;
as
long
as
it
does
not
harm
other
individuals.
This
is
written
in
the
human
rights.
We
are
all
different
on
the
outside,
but
not
on
the
inside.
We
are
all
human
regardless
to
religion,
sex,
skin-‐color,
sexuality
or
way
of
thinking.
But
somewhere
in
our
evolution
it
stumbled
and
stepped
right
into
fear.
Fear
of
change,
divergence,
mixes
and
diversity.
The
fear
sickened
us
to
believe
that
there
is
only
one
right
way
to
think
and
act,
and
we
have
forgotten
and
ignored
other
countries
and
their
definition
of
what
is
right,
which
is,
to
me,
a
horrifying
fact.
With
all
these
wars
going
on
and
the
people
in
danger
we
cannot
let
this
sickness
take
over
our
minds.
We
have
to
open
our
arms
and
embrace
the
fresh
change;
even
if
that
means
that
our
traditions
have
to
be
moved
the
slightest.
Right
now
is
all
I
can
see
humans,
but
no
humanity.
So
we
have
to
find
our
balance
once
more
and
start
to
march
towards
the
meaning
of
humanity
again.
Society
needs
to
realize
that
we
are
all
the
same.
Open
your
arms
and
greet
the
new
traditions,
religions,
opinions
and
individuals.
Do
your
best
to
provide
them
with
the
rights
and
benefits
you
obtain,
since
we
are
after
all,
the
same
on
the
inside.
